It was great to see Regent’s men’s football team supporting the university’s LGBT+ Society during their match last week against King’s College 5th (GKT).

Some Regent's players wore special wristbands to show their support and the wristbands boosted the team to an excellent 5-1 victory.

The match was a British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) fixture and was played in Regent’s Park.

The men’s football team’s next BUCS fixture is on Wednesday 24 October against UCFB 7th (Wembley). Kick-off is at 13:00 and the match takes place at Silver Jubilee Park.

In other sports news last week, Regent’s mixed volleyball team beat the University of Greenwich 3-0. The team’s next fixture is on Monday 29 October at 19:30 against SOAS at William Ellis School.

The men’s basketball team next play at 17:15 on Saturday 27 October against SOAS. The match will be played at Somers Town Community Centre.
