We are pleased to announce the introduction of a new attendance recording system – SEAtS.
Following a successful trial in the summer term, the University is ready to roll the new attendance system out across all classes from this term.
To register your attendance in class, you will simply tap-in to a reader inside the classroom using your ID card. The card reader is linked to the timetable system, which will record the time that you tapped-in to the card reader. Please be aware that you have ten minutes from the beginning of your class to tap-in, or it will be recorded as a non-attendance, so it’s best to remember to tap-in as soon as you walk into the room.
There will be instructions above the reader and reminder notices in all classrooms. If you have any issues tapping in, don’t panic – visit the Student Hub after your class, and the team will be happy to assist you.
If you have any questions, please visit the Hub, or contact hub@regents.ac.uk.
