We are excited to announce that our graduate Mia Tsujimura Hjaere from AIS Workplace will be delivering our first One Year On Lecture this term..

Mia graduated from the BA (Hons) Interior Design programme at Regent’s with first-class honours in 2019. Growing up in Tokyo and having both Japanese and Danish heritage, the synthesis of these cultures has greatly influenced her perspective on space and design.

While studying at Regent’s, Mia gained some great experiences outside university, such as participating at the Architectural Association summer school in the Amazon in 2017, as well as a summer internship at a Japanese architectural studio in Tokyo in 2018.

Currently Mia is working as a junior designer at AIS Workplace in London, where she is involved with a variety of commercial interior design projects. She will be talking about her journey and the influences that shaped her as a designer and reflecting on her experience as a student.
